Will there be a Verbum Forum Section?
Just got the Verbum Basic package and all is well. I am still able to research homilies and talks with the same process I was using before.I haven't seen a huge speed difference though. I thought it was supposed to be a little faster.
I am just curious if there will be a Verbum specific forum that will enable Catholics to come together with ideas and assistance for each other.
And I am still trying to get the best out of building Personal books. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome to the Forums! The speedup in Logos 5 you will mainly notice I think in the speed of linked windows, the information pane, etc. There are still other areas, maybe the ones initially noticed like bootup speed, etc. that are like in Logos 4.
There was an attempt to create a specific forum for Catholic Logos users before (logos4catholics.org), but it has been kind of abandoned, and it seems now that it isn't really necessary for the moment anyway. I think you'll find people are very helpful, and it's great to see collaboration between Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants in this and many other areas. The Logos forum only asks that we avoid discussing theological issues and keep it more to how to use Logos - even if it's for a somewhat specifically Catholic theme like the deuterocanonicals you should be fine as long as it follows those guidelines.
As far as the Personal Books go, I think the most essential thing is to learn how to apply Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3 to your Personal Books so you can use the Table of Contents in Logos. There are more advanced features, but that is probably the most important. There is a forum for PBs specifically.

Just to clarify: there's a forum for sharing .docx files that can be compiled as PB's, but there's no special forum about how to make PB's.

Thanks to all for the replies!
I see the sense in keeping it as consolidated as possible for the reason of learning the software. No deep theological discourses are needed to learn how to navigate Logos/Verbum.
Thanks for the tips on PB's and I realize I need to stay on task with the Heading thing. I hope to be able to learn more and more and one day maybe contribute to the forum instead of lurking and learning.

I asked this questions too, and see the wisdom in keeping the forum structure as "loose" as possible. Perhaps we can start a Faithlife group for Catholic Logos Users. I for one would love to know hoe other clergymen use Logo in their homily prep.

If you're interested in joining the discussion on the Catechism and the readings (you won't be disappointed, I promise: there is a lot of very insightful comments being posted), go to the “Documents” tab and press the Connect button. It’s only 5–6 paragraphs per day. You can also read community (and reply to) posted comments from within your Logos program right beside the Catechism text if you like (which are tagged by a small icon wherever a comment is made) or better yet post new ones yourself as you would want to share an idea, a question or a quotation on any specific issue in the Catechism as you read along with the rest of us.
I don't know about you but for me, I’m reading the Catechism cover-to-cover for the first time and most probably I’m going to have some questions or comments as I go along. I'm hoping the discussion continues to grow as it is now (already really good if I may say so myself).
Members include awesome people, scholars, apologists, bloggers, priests, etc.: Thomas McDonald, Devin Rose, Brandon Vogt, Steve Ray, etc.

"Platinum" on your about page will not have consequences for the behavior of the
software. All that matters there is the "Set Verbum to Yes" command. I will ask
about having it mention both collections on the about page.
The changes to
Verbum are pretty simple:
-Catholic default priorities
-Verbum blog option on the homepage
-Lectionary by default on the homepage
-default passage guide template with Catechism, Church Documents, and Church Fathers sections
-default collections: Catechism, Church Documents, Church Fathers
