How can I find a highlight and save it in a specific not file?

I just highlighted a paragraph in a resource, but I cannot find what note file it was automatically saved.  I've looked in "Solid Colors" which is the Palette my highlight is in and it is not there.

Is there an easy way to tell the highlight what note file it is to be saved in?

    Hi Ronald

If you right-click on the highlight and select "Show Information" at the bottom right the information window will appear. At the bottom of this it should show you where the highlight has been saved.

Is there an easy way to tell the highlight what note file it is to be saved in?

This is determined at the palette level and can be changed by clicking on the blue arrow which appears if you hover your curser to the right of the palette in the highlighting menu

    Hope this helps

I tried the "show information", but all that showed me was the type of highlight used ("solid color:yellow") it did not show where the highlight was saved.

But when I checked the "Save in" under the palette level, I discovered that I was saving all my highlights to a completely different note file (I Samuel).

    Thanks for help.

    Hi Ronald

I tried the "show information", but all that showed me was the type of highlight used ("solid color:yellow") it did not show where the highlight was saved.

Sorry, on double-checking I see it just shows the palette details.

But when I checked the "Save in" under the palette level, I discovered that I was saving all my highlights to a completely different note file (I Samuel).

Glad you got the information you needed
