On the Jewish Commentary discussion:

why is it that the most popular jewish commentary (to my knowledge) is not available?

surely some publisher will allow it to be sold in Logos?

Can anyone update me on this issue? is it a publisher issue?

I noticed that as well... I came across Rashi in doing some research for a project on Jonah... He said some things I hadn't thought of (that Jonah had been swallowed by two fish, a male and female), but I really didn't use him for my paper.

It did make me wonder if Logos had him. Which of course they don't.

Cheer up ! Even Ebookshuk / Varda Books / Publisher's Row (all the same) which publishes PDFs of books of Jewish interest doesn't have Rashi. [8-)]

hmmm. interesting.

I just cant imagine that a publisher / copyright holder would refuse to allow it to be distributed.

It seems a horrible crime on humanity to be so selfish if that is the case...
