Opening NIV(84) from BWS turns on RI ribbon

If I click on the reference (as shown in the blue box above) then the RI ribbon does not open (unless it was open when the translation was last closed) whereas if I click on the verse (as in the red box above) the RI ribbon always opens.

This feels like a programming decision by Logos but it would be interesting to get this confirmed.

Can you replicate what I am seeing?

Yes, this is by design. I think the reason is that if you're studying a lemma and clicking through to a translation, you may be interested in seeing more information about that lemma in context. (And if you've been around these forums for a while, you'll probably have seen that many new users don't know how to turn on the ribbon themselves, which is why it could be helpful to turn it on automatically.) As you posted, to avoid turning on the ribbon, click the verse reference, not the word.
