LGNTI Greek text

The LGNTI is now in two versions: the LGNTI and the newer LGNTI SBL edition. The underlying Greek text for the SBL edition is obviously the SBLGNT, but what about for the original LGNTI? The introduction says it "began with the latest critical version of the New Testament Greek text..." On the surface this would seem to be referring to the NA27/UBS4 text, but I'd like to be sure. Can anyone confirm?

That sentence finishes "and created essentially a fresh English translation to accompany that Greek text." Yes, it is NA27/UBS4 (not NA28).

Hi David,

Knew it wasn't the NA28 because the LGNTI has been around for awhile. However, there are a number of "critical texts" floating around that are often tweaks of the NA27, like Zondervan's. I just want to know what I'm working with. [:D]
