I'd like to see the RSV second catholic edition in Logos. Along with the Ignatius study Bible!

NABRE (2011) available at LOGOS is O.K. if you are a Catholic scholar:
The USCCB announced the approval is for "private use and study" while masses will continue to use a lectionary taken from "an earlier, modified version of the NAB translation (Wikipedia)
Logos actually offers many translations which are OK by that standard. Including the RSVCE and the NABRE as you mentioned. We are just voting for this one to be added.
I appreciate peoples fondness for the RSV2, I personally favour the NRSV but the eliminating of the archaic language often used in the RSV is very welcome, what is less welcome in my minds eye is changing texts to conform with doctrine. For me Christ's virgin birth is not harmed in in way by reading Isaiah's text as the young maiden, in fact for me it makes more sense because while I do not deny it as a prophecy of the Christ, I fully accept that in Isaiah's time a young girl had become pregnant and was a sign for the king Ahaz that God was ultimately with them. I realize these forums are not meant to be places of theological discussion nor am I hoping to start one only wishing to state my feelings for the historical RSV being a good translation and for me and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishop's the NRSV is a good replacement (yes the lections are occasionally modified to make them less gender neutral but the NRSV is still the translation of choice here in Canada)...
