It has taken a few days work, but I have whipped my library into a more useable shape.

Using favorites, I've set up a list of "resources to read" that I can access in Logos on my iPad.

I have hidden one copy of those resources which had multiple copies.

I have hidden all of the fragments from the earliest new testament greek manuscripts.

I have hidden every Perseus resource that is not in English.

I still have over 3,200 resources, but they now are more useable and orderly.

Is there a quick way to find the non-English Perseus resources and hide all of them, or did you have to do that one by one by hand?

I had to scan through them manually, but you can select multiple resources at once to hid with Ctrl-clck to select and the Ctrl-right click to hide. It was a long process, but in the end, worth it.

How does one do something like that? Sounds like its a really good idea. Dont have as many resources but to have it neat and tidy would be nice.

In the Library window, enter:
publisher:Perseus ANDNOT lang:English
Ctrl+A to select all.
Check this is the correct list. (Ctrl+Click any you don't want to hide.)
Ctrl+Click, and choose:
Hide this resource.

FYI, Bradley G.insists that the hide feature was not intended for library management like this.

Thanks for the steps. On step 4, where do I Ctrl-Click? When I Ctrl-Click on one of the highlighted titles in the Library, it simply opens that particular title in a window.

I'm using Logos 5 on Windows 7.

Ctrl-Click in any of the fields except the Book's title or icon as that will open the resource. I just click on the Author's name. If the mouse changes to a hand it will open the resource. Make sure it stays as an arrow and you're safe to select or unselect with ctrl-click.

Hold down Ctrl while RIGHT-clicking a resource:

Does anything like this work on L5 for Mac?

At the moment, I'm using the "hide 10 resources at a time" workaround - and it's taking a while to hide 900+ resources!!!

In your library browser type in "language:greek" and "language:latin." Why would you want to hide them? They're the best part of the program.

Yes - use Opt-right-click as opposed to Ctrl-right-click

The Ctrl-right click worked beautifully. I also realized I had to restart Logos before I see those hidden resources "disappear."
