Search Results

When I search using "Entire Library" I get results in four sections: Topic; My Content; My Books and Library Results
However if I narrow the search such as "All Open Resources" it limits the search to only My Books and Library Results.
Is there a way to get Topic and My Content to show up regardless of the search parameter?

Topic only shows up if you search entire library, even if the collection you're searching would have returned topic results. It's been raised by a few people (including me!) several times over the years, but most seem happy with it as it is, which may explain why Logos haven't changed it.
My Content also won't show up unless you search entire library, although that makes sense, as my content isn't searching resources, but documents. If you limit your search to only resources that are open, or resources in a collection, then My Content shouldn't show up.
So the answer to your question is, no - there isn't a way.

Thanks Mark. Hopefully this will one day get the attention of the programmers.

You can search My Content (instead of Entire Library) from the menu in Basic Search and there is the Topic Guide which you can restrict to a collection. Now, I would like to see My Content as a section in Topic Guide because it always seemed senseless to treat "Entire Library" as a trigger for Topics.
