Is there a way to select text from the Bible Word Study Window so I can copy it to the clipboard?
Right clicking on the title on the title bar should give you the copy option

That seems to copy everything. I just want to select part of the text (and hopefully with it a reference such as other copy and paste functions)

That's not possible. You can either copy the whole thing (using print/export), or copy a section as Martha as noted. You won't get a reference included either way.
