Logos team: A number of people are reporting crashes with Logos 5 where log files show "System.IO.IOException: Too many open files".
I have experienced this a number of times myself (logs attached) I can definitely state that there were not a large number of files open at the time. Basically I had been using Logos 5 for around an hour or so opening (and closing) resources. I was doing a basic search on a term 'Author of life' that led to opening ABD, from there clicking on Acts 3:15 opening in ESV, selecting ἀρχηγός and opening a BWS. From there I expanded the lemma section to see the resource 'MM' and clicked on it.
When I clicked on MM there was a brief pause... then Logos 5 crashed to the OS with no OS X crash dialog — nasty.
When I restarted Logos 5 and did the same sequence, no problem so I do not believe it is anything to do with corrupt resources.
Can you advise, and soon hopefully fix. It is a nasty crash, also when it happens there is never any recent (Now) layout automatic snapshots available (I only always ever see the last good close layout snapshot) so everything is lost.
The Mac system I am running on is not hardware 'resource challenged'.
