Not sure why L5 Mac crashed. Was scrolling down through Gordon Fee's book 'How to Read the Bible for all Its Worth' and I think I accidentally right clicked while doing this and it crashed with no warning. I wasn't doing anything really special. I had eight resources open, along with the search and highlighting panels.
Started this morning with a fresh boot, have not put my Macbook into sleep mode and have had a reasonably decent internet connection this morning. The only thing I can say about the conditions is that I had been using L5 for about five hours and the scrolling of text was starting to not be as smooth as earlier this morning. Maybe there is a memory leak or something? Sure would like to know why it does this! 
Running 5.0a and OSX 10.8.2
