Seriously?

I am confused again...to go with the Silver package for me was 295 and change, the minimal crossgrade was at 150 and change (which has the features I was looking at). Purchased MC and now to go to Silver is still 259? REALLY? So spending all that only saves me gives me 40 dollars? Is it just me or did I miss something?

Dan, the difference is that once you purchase the MC you are considered to have upgraded to L5 and the discount to upgrade to another package goes down. If you want Silver, call Logos and ask them to refund the money for the MC. Then buy Silver, then the MC to 'catch' the few features Silver doesn't have. That will cost relatively little.

Lots of discussion here about this recently. Logos didn't make the whole process about buying the MC as clear as needed. They have discussed whether they can roll back the product discounts for those who own MC and make them less expensive. I guess they are finding this a bit harder to do than they expected.

Call customer service. You should purchase the Silver first and then pay only around $6 for the additional features with the Minimum Crossgrade.

They can probably work this out for you or you can e mail them. You will spend around 301 dollars for the upgrade to silver with all the features.

You did it the wrong way around — if you want Silver plus the extra goodies in Minimal Crossgrade (which you should get) you should get the Silver first, as you say it was $295 for you, then get the Minimal Crossgrade and it will be (after you have the Silver) only about $6.

So total for both = $295 + $6 = $301

If you have already bought the Minimal Crossgrade ring Logos first thing, explain it to them, ask them to reverse the MC and then do Silver followed by MC.

Dan, the best L5 base package prices were reserved for L4 users. By buying the MC first and then trying to buy a new L5 base package, the system thinks you're an existing L5 user and thus hasn't offered you the full discount you saw previously. I think the best way to go would have been to buy the L5 silver package first and then bought the MC (at a reduced price to what you paid) to add only those features/data sets not contained in L5 silver.

It's confusing, as you end up in exactly the same place as what you've done, but I think doing it the other way around will throw up a better price for you.

As Logos has a 30 day money back guarantee, I suggest you contact sales and they'll put this right for you.

I don't think it really matters what denomination I am, this guy just can't dance! I did get the happy feeling on the inside when I called Logos and got this straightened out! The one feature of Bible Sense was less than 7 dollars. I also splurged and got the ESV Notes for 28 dollars! I am glad the wife let me sell some digital camera equipment that hasnt seen daylight in a few years! Thanks also to "Jason" who made this change for me so easily at Logos!
