failing to launch

Logos 4 wont launch for me. I have restarted my computer and still cannot get it to launch. I am clicking the icon in the dock and it bounces once or twice and the run light comes on under the icon and then goes away a second later. Same thing in finder.

Ethan - It may be that you need to enable logging and post logs for us… First, however, have you tried opening to a blank layout? Press and hold the command key immediately upon start up, then check the appropriate box.

It wont launch long enough for me to press the command key. I'm starting to feel like my hard drive is telling me its about to die... again. experiencing a lot of system slow down...

Understand system slow down from a drive that cannot pass an Apple Hardware Test.  Personally plan to replace a hard drive with a SATA III SSD, which should noticeably improve Logos responsiveness.

For Logos launch error; would like to look at diagnostic log files; wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac

Version 4.61.0.3378 is the current stable Logos 4.6a SR-3 release.

Also may want to consider Logos 5 upgrade, crossgrade, or combination thereof (e.g. upgrade to Silver, then crossgrade for ~ $ 6).  Logos 5 is noticeably faster than Logos 4.  Other option is waiting for free Logos 5 software, which is anticipated in 1st Quarter 2013.
