I hate auto suggest. It is my least favorite feature of Logos. It causes me the most annoyance. It makes me want to learn how to swear in Greek, Hebrew, _and_ Aramaic. I never use auto suggest, don't think I've ever found it remotely helpful. But it almost always gets in my way. I've mentioned before how annoying it is that the window sometimes pops up after I've typed my search, making me have to clear it to see my results. Others have seen this too. It can also interfere with what I've typed; if my mouse happens to be hovering in the area where the auto-suggest dropdown appears, it often selects whatever the pointer is over and replaces whatever search I've typed, so not only do I have to close the annoying menu and move the mouse out of the way, I have to re-type my search.
In case I've not been clear, I hate auto suggest. We need a way to turn it off. Preferably with a nice animation of it exploding in a nuclear holocaust. It is never useful, it is almost always annoying, and it hasn't improved with L5.
