I used Alt-Q to exit ... the window disappeared as normal but the app would no unload.

I live with one foot in each camp ... Apple and that which shall not be named!
Did the synchronizing settings box disappear? I frequently have trouble closing Logos and have to force quit it. I suspect it has something to do with the crummy internet we have.
I rarely see that box ... I did not see it here ... I was left with Logos in the menu bar and the illuminated 'bead' on the dock to show that an app is loaded, and no other evidence of Logos.
