Can I get a button, please???

I hesitated for several weeks and now I just have to ask. Several times, in an effort to clean things up, it is a common practice for me to <delete> the "snapshot" layouts. Upon doing so, I accidentally deleted some of my SAVED layouts AGAIN.... (there was a long lag after I clicked).... and cannot figure out how to UNDO it. Anybody know if there's a way for me UNDO a mistake? Thank you.

If you are on Windows and if you catch your mistake immediately, you can use Ctrl and Z at the same time and it will undo it. I know that this is not what you wanted to hear now that you have already probably done several other things but it is the only thing that I have found to use for undelete. This is a Windows function and not a Logos function.

Just for some additional information. I think that Logos took a great step towards an undelete button/command by adding the availability to recover deleted documents. Under the "Documents" toolbar is the ability to undelete all of the different types and it apparently keeps a copy of them for quite some time.

WOW!! Thanks so much. Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing that selection under "Documents" but wasn't sure it would do what I wanted. I am making a note of the CTRL + Z as well.

Under the "Documents" toolbar is the ability to undelete all of the different types and it apparently keeps a copy of them for quite some time.

This is a great feature but doesn't yet support all document types. Those currently supported are Notes, Reading Plans, Prayer Lists, Clippings, Syntax Searches with others planned.

Also, with a layout not being a Document it is not clear that this would help in this particular case.

You are right. I tried that feature last night just to be sure it would "undo" a deleted layout and it DOES NOT. It only works for the documents you stated above. In the meantime, I have decided to be very, very careful when I delete the "snapshots" and/or wait for an extended length of time before clicking to remove another, especially if there is one in the next couple of places down that I do not want deleted.

What I mean is---after clicking on the "X" to delete the desired layout, Logos5/Windows7...GOLD Package, takes a long time to actually 'process the request' and there is no explanation (dialog box stating request is processing, etc). That leaves me to think I may have not clicked the "X" or if I did, how do I know Logos 'saw me' or 'heard the click' ? So then, I click again! Oppss! Shouldna done that!! Can't UNDO it! {Okay....I'm rambling...but you get the idea, I hope}

Anyway, it seems to me then that the conclusion is: I cannot UNDO a deletion because---by the way---Ctrl + Z doesn't work either (I tried that too). Thanks for your input.
