After upgrading my desktop to Logos 5, I need to upgrade my laptop. Is it necessary to uninstall L4 from laptop first and then reinstall using the previous laptop install process at http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers ?
No, you don't need to uninstall L4 from the laptop first.
Assuming you use the same Logos account on both systems - and assuming the laptop is running Windows Vista or above - then when you start Logos on your laptop it will try and upgrade to L5 automatically.
Thanks, Graham. I thought it would automatically upgrade (like you suggested), but it didn't work that way for me. In the meantime, I noticed that the line, "Install Logos 5 from the Upgrade link on your Order page." has been added to Method 2 at the above mentioned wiki page. It worked like a charm.
