How to Go To Reference (Ipad)
How do you got to a reference in the body of a note? If the reference is in the note title it works, but if it is in the body it goes to edit mode when you select it.

Rick - I don't know what platform you are on, but I just created a note and added hyperlinks to both the title & note content itself. (Auto hyperlink does not work on Mac, so I manually added it). Once the note synced, both the title and note body were correctly hyperlinked and I could "jump to reference."

Hi Alabama - I assume RIck is asking about the iPad app which doesn't support creation of hyperlinks at the moment (as you know)

Sorry… I should have been more clear. When I asked which platform he was on, I meant which desktop platform he was using. I understood that he was talking about the iPad. My point is that hyperlinks have to be manually created on the Mac (and can't be created on mobile) currently. In the original post, he didn't mention where the notes were created… Based upon the description of the behavior he is describing, I would assume they were created either from the mobile app or from L4/L5 Mac.

The notes were created on L4 Mac. I have L5 Mac now, but have not created many notes yet with it.
On the desktop I have to hold down the command key to jump to the reference.
On the Ipad there is no command key. When I click (touch) a reference it automatically goes into edit mode and the keypad becomes active.

Yes, this is the current behaviour.
It has been discussed previously - can't find the thread at the moment - but no conclusion was reached as to how / if this will be changed.

This is true when you are looking at a note file. When you look at an individual attached note (in a resource), the hyperlink is active. I will see if I can get a screen shot.

Thanks for pointing this out - I didn't know that. A couple of screenshots to demonstrate.
The first shows an attached note which includes some hyperlinks
The second shows what happens when I click the link at the bottom - to John 1:18

Thank you for your help. I do like to jump right from my notes to a reference, it will be nice if/when this is addressed.
I am amazed at how fast forum personnel respond, it is appreciated very much.
