Cited By tool - Show Collections

If I recall, in L4 I was able to customize which collections to display in each of my layouts. In L5, this functionality is gone. When I check or uncheck a collection in one Layout, this change is universal for all Layouts. Was this by design or by mistake?

I don't remember this feature in L4. Can you tell us what you are trying to accomplish?

Click on the Resource Panel, I am not at a computer I can screen shoot, it is the upper left icon that may have a star on it. Once open you can select a wide array of collections, tags, series etc. Move them up and down to place them where you want them. Maybe someone can post a pic of the resource panel if you cannot find it.

It is where you would click if you wanted to link the Cited By tool to a Bible if that helps.

I could be mistaken, but I think L4 allows you to customize your Cited By tool for each Layout. This is what happens when one cannot find documentation about customization of software behavior.

In my post, I am referring to the Panel Menu of the Cited By tool:

Today it seems that the Cited By tool behaves as it did in L4. Yesterday, any changes I made to the tool was shown in other Layouts as well. I was going to ask if someone could do the following in L4 below, but now it's not necessary.

For those who still have access to L4, could you see if you can:

1. Bring up the Cited by tool and select or unselect a collection. Remember the collection name.

2. Save your Layout (and call it Layout-test1 or something)

3. Bring up another Layout, and open the Cited by tool. Select or unselect a different collection and remember its name.

4. Save the Layout (call it Layout-test2)

5.Compare the Cited by tool in each of the test Layouts
