Limit release of new/updated resources to once per day

I'd like to suggest that Logos consolidate the release of resources and/or resource updates to once per day. I'd suggest either noon/1pm PST, or upon opening the support office each morning (6am PST, if I remember correctly).

I received two updates already today, both of which require a restart of Logos and some indexing. Consolidating updates to once a day seems like a simple thing to do (not that I really know), and would be of overall benefit to us users.

mostly changes in format, which will make smaller future updates, looks good to me

Yes it is found on the Program Settings panel.

I think some of the trouble is that resources are updated and released in batches. Pre-publication products are released somewhat randomly throughout a day as Logos is able to process charge cards. Not saying they couldn't put everything in a hopper and release it at the close of day, however.

I know I can set Logos to update just once per day. But I want program updates as soon as they are available - especially if I'm on the beta channel. Resource updates are not usually critical. As I look at it, you can only choose when to check for updates, not which types of updates you want to schedule.

Also, it would make more sense (IMHO) to release them at the beginning of the day, when support starts, or at mid-day, than at the end of the day, after support goes home, in case there is an issue with a resource that needs an immediate fix (it would be fine with me to get a second update for that type of situation).
