Downloading of Updates Stuck

I'm using Logos 5 on a Windows 8 machine.  I just purchased a resource and ran the command Update Now.  It started the update, it found the new resources, and it gets stuck constantly.  I can't wait for the autoupdate as I need to be able to use this resource from my desktop (to include elements in a handout for a class).  Are the download servers down or something?  It got to 69% just now and has been stuck there for 10 minutes.  Please help.

Mark, don't know if I can be of much help, but here is what I suggest:

Close Logos and cancel the download.

Follow this link to learn how to enable permanent diagnostic logging. Then see the instructions for uploading log files on the same page. http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging

After doing the above, navigate to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\{random string}\DownloadManager and delete the two files you'll find there.

Now restart Logos and see if the download is automatically re-triggered (it should not be). If it isn't, attempt to restart it using Update Resources instead of Update Now (just to catch the new resource and not to catch any software updates you might have missed).

If the download hangs up again, zip up the log files an attach them to another post as explained on that wiki page above.
