I have downloaded Logos 5 and all works well but it will not install the downloaded resources? If I click on a bible (eg:ESV) then even the update resource tab is unavailable?
Hi — looking at your logs they show no indexing activity and the error log states it is having problems connecting to logos & even checking what should be downloaded — so it appears nothing has.
The reported error is "name resolution failure" which basically means the URL your system has to go to to get list of resources to download cannot be found/doesn't work. You are running the Logos 5 version.
Try closing Logos, reboot machine, log onto Logos, see if automatic downloads start, if not in Logos in the command bar type 'Update resources'. If nothing happens quit Logos and repost logs.
Before you do this process though there are three old Logos 4 logs in your Logging folder, pls delete those.
The logs are not useful, so we need a new set - see the Logos 5 for OS X section in http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
But could you clarify how you know the resources are downloaded? Was indexing started? What do you mean by "update resource tab"?
