upgrading to logos 5--Origininal Languages Package

I originally purchased the Original Languages Package and over the years have added some resources. I would like to upgrade to Logos 5 but when I use the discount calculator it recommends upgrading to the Bronze package at a price tag of over $300. That seems like a bit of a stretch for my student budget, and it does strike me as a bit expensive for an upgrade. Are there any other options for me?

Call Logos tell them your a student and ask about their Biblical Language package. It is the replacement for OL, but is not listed on the website.

David ... as Michael notes, take a look at the 'special' package designed for the academic world. But you also might consider just getting the crossgrade.

I have Original Languages and quite frankly the 'next step' was to buy the more heavy-duty resources (eg HALOT/BDAG, AYBD or the IVP series, etc). The crossgrade then gives you the new hebrew/greek capabilities for roots, similar-words, and 'referents', and more. Price-wise it's quite affordable compared to what you'd normally pay for that type of capability (and they plan to continue to expand it as well).

That's why I recommend you look at the contents of the OL upgrade carefully for your own needs.
