Has anybody heard if there's going to be a Christmas Special offered this year? After updating to 4, I could sure use some more great books at a great price to go with it! On my wish list for Christmas!

Actually Bill you hit the nail on the head. Logos knows that most have a general idea as to how much they will spend on their product, and right now L4 is what they are trying to sell so a Christmas Special would just slow the sale of L4. [:'(]
Our thought is that Logos 4 (and the great deals on upgrading to a bigger collection) would serve the purpose of a Christmas special this year... and that between that and the various cool pre-pubs recently, we probably wiped out everyone's book budget!
But I'll bring it up with the marketing team...

How about a 50% off from Zondervan
That would be awesome. However, as I understand it (and I wasn't in the discussions) Zondervan is licensing Logos' technology. So even though Logos is still producing the books in house Zondervan retains a lot of control, including pricing. Given their history with Pradis, I doubt Zondervan will offer many (if any) discounts.

After purchasing NICOT/NICNT and L4 Platinum, my wife has informed me that I am done buying any books for a while. She tells me that "I have enough books to read." And being the good husband I am complying. So PLEASE don't tempt me with anything else for a while.

NICOT/NICNT were just on pre-pub weren't they? What was the price then. I wish I had taken advantage of it!!
The initial pre-pub price was $999. It then went up to about $1,100 or so before it was released.

You killed my budget and it looks like it will continue dying at regular intervals as the prepubs hit. I've already had to cancel a few...but I am not complaining. Great job on keeping the resources coming even in the midst of the major software upgrade and continued revisions.
