I have been running Logos 4 since it was released. Today, I got a "first-time indexing underway." What's going on? Why is it indexing for the first-time again?
Was there a download prior to this? Or did it only start when you started L4?
Can you tell me what files are in your LibraryIndex folder under the Logos4 folder (..\Logos4\Data\{random}\LibraryIndex)?
How much space is left on the disk drive?
There was not a download. the first-time indexing showed up when I opened last night (12/30). I have 443 gb free.
I cannot say why it started 1st time indexing, but it appears you should be able to conduct searches whilst this is happening. So let the indexing complete.
It indexed not just once but twice, and it is on the third time. There must be a corrupt file. Is there any idea on how to find it?
We need some logs. See http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging and upload to the forum. It may mean prematurely ending an Index session (Pause indexing and then kill Logos4Indexer.exe in Task Manager) and then enabling logging.
