I compiled a passage list for The Holy Spirit in the New Testament [using a CLAUSE SEARCH]. Is there a way to see the references on that list in just, say, the book of Acts?
I just realized I could go to ANALYSIS [under the CLAUSE SEARCH] and use the BOOK column to sort out the results.
I just now see that I could have chosen CLAUSE SEARCH IN ACTS for the Clause Search - and that would have done it. So I guess I have solved the problem.
So I guess I have solved the problem.
Twice!
Can any of this be done without "CLAUSE SEARCH"?
Yes - some of it
You can do a Bible Search for "Holy Spirit" in Acts and construct a Passage List from it.
What the clause search adds is the ability to find hits when the Holy Spirit is referenced in different ways - such as through pronouns.
Yes, you can do a Bible Search for "Holy Spirit"** but you won't find occurrences of "he", "his" that are attributed to the Spirit unless you perform a Clause Search.
** you also have to allow for "Spirit of God" or just "Spirit" in your search.
