how long does it take for L5 to prepare my library after installation?

I've just updated from L4 platinum to L5 Gold, and it's preparing my library.  Seems to go on for ever, as I impatiently wait to try the new toy, late at night here in Albania.  This is maybe a stupid question, but how long will it go on preparing my library?  3Gig memory, Windows vista, Toshiba Satellite, about 5 years old.

I imagine it takes longer the first time after installation?

Could certainly take am hour or more -it's generally between 10s and 30s for each new resource.
