Sermons I imported in L3 were all showing up in L4 until this week. Now, the old sermons still show in L4, but none of the new sermons are showing. They show in L3, but not in L4. Was there an upgrade that has caused this to stop working?
Dan,
I'm pretty sure that the importing of sermons is not automatic. It happens on install and then you will need to scan for them: try typing "scan c:\path\to\sermonfiles" into the command bar. Close v4. Restart.

Damian you are correct. Since compiling your sermons rebuilds the book file it needs to be re-scaned by Logos 4 for you to read then new sermons in it. We will have to do it this way until they release the new Sermon File addin.
Thanks guys, I have been working with this problem for a couple of days and was getting ready to post a similar question...I did the scan and that took care of the problem....
This sounds so simple that I must be doing something wrong. There seems to be three steps to retrieving the sermons files.
1. Scan the location. I typed "C:\Documents and Settings\Frank Walker\My Documents\My Dropbox\Libronix DLS\SermonFile" into the command bar at the top of the L4 screen. Does that look right?
2. I waited a few minutes, during which L4 didn't seem to be doing anything. My HD remained inactive.
3. I restarted the computer. Unfortunately, I cannot find the sermon files anywhere. They do not show up in my library, nor do they appear in the passage guide when I type in a text that should have a sermon attached.
Am I looking for the right files? The scan line given above directs L4 to the folder where I have the files created by the L3 Sermon Addin feature. Is that right?
In previous post, point #1 should read "Scan C:\...." Sorry.

You need to scan the folder with the books in it; this folder is in the Program files for Libronix. The Documents and Settings folder contains the individual sermons from which the addin compiles a single book file that is placed in the resource folder and read by the engine.
And don't restart your computer. Closa and restart Logos.
Unless I'm mistaken the compiled sermons in L3 arrive in: documents/Libronix Resources... so:
scan C:\Documents and settings\Frank Walker\My Documents\Libronix Reources
Or inject dropbox in there if you're using it for them as well.
Thanks, everyone! With your help, I was finally able to make it work.
Thanks for your help. Scanning, closing L4 and restarting it worked for me.
