When trying to add citations from a resource by using the copy citation, add, clipboard, it will not add the citation to the bibliography list. Likewise, it doesn't work when adding from history. I am running Logos 5 on a Macbook Pro.
You can simply drag the tab onto the Bibliography document to create a new entry. It even works for groups of tabs by dragging with the shift key.
You can drag from shortcuts, favorites, clippings, history and other bibliography documents too.
Tom, that is good to know. Are the Copy and History avenues known issues?
The copy issue does appear to be a bug. I'll file a bug and we'll get it looked at. Copying a citation from a resource to the clipboard and pasting seems like a perfectly logical way to insert a bibliography entry.
I am not having any problems adding from History on my L5 Mac install though. 1) Open a Bibliography document, 2) Select Add > ...history 3) Select one or more items and then click Add.
Rosie replied in another thread, but the current behavior is that adding from the clipboard adds the bibliography entry for the resource you last copied from (assuming you still have the selection on the clipboard).
I saw that but wonder if that is what most people would think of when they see this feature? It isn't bad to have it work as it does, but it should also be able to add Bibliographic data I copy from the information panel of a resource.
