Hi, I'm running L5 on a MacBook Pro 2.66 GHz and 4GB memory, with Mac OS X
L5 seems to run slower than I think it should. I see the spinning color wheel more than I'd like.
Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Hi Pat,
I assume that L5 is not indexing (i.e. the small blue icon is not visible in the tool tray at the top right hand corner of your screen).
Assuming L5 is not indexing, you may find that shutting down and restarting the Mac realises some performance improvements. I appreciate that this is a very unMac like action [:D], but some users have reported memory leaks. These will be addressed in future updates, but, for now, a restart may well speed things up.
If the problems persist, please report back here and either a Logos employee or experienced user may be able to further assist.
Blessings [:D]
Thanks Andy.
That seems to have done it. Duh! Surprised I didn't do that earlier.
It's a problem I've had for awhile, so hopefully it's cured now!
Seems to be slowing down again. Thought it might be because of the amount of open resources, (about 14).
I'm going to try turning off "links to open panels" and see if that speeds it up.
