Is Logos planning to upgrade frequently, like every year or so? Being on a budget, I'm concerned about the cost of doing so. After investing in the Logos 3 Scholar's pack and using it for a number of years, I debated whether to invest in the Logos 4 upgrade because of the cost of doing so. I justified it with the thought I'd be up-to-date for another several years. Just over a year later Logos 5 was issued with another upgrade price, discounted yes, which I appreciate, but still in the hundreds of dollars. I do love the program and use it every week, but paying the upgrade price every year to stay current seems like a lot. Before Logos 4 it worked for me that engine upgrades were free, and we only needed to purchase any additional resources we wanted to add to our library. However I do understand the price of progress. Software engineers need to be paid, and the engine is indeed improved. I can understand the need to charge a price for that. However, what I would like to see is the option of upgrading the engine in order to stay abreast with program functionality, without the necessity of bundling in all the additional resources that come with it and that increase the price; or with the option of including and purchasing only the additional resources one wants. Is that option available, or would it be possible to make it available? Thanks for your consideration.
