Font problem?

I've noticed that the reading plan indicators in Good News of Great Joy (Desiring God) does not represent curly apostrophes or en dashes: open rectangles are given instead.

This is true even though I just restored all defaults at Program Settings (which presumably restores font selections in case I was fiddling around).

Hello Philip,

Can you provide me with a screen-shot of what you're experiencing? Can you also click the 'i' in the top right-hand corner of the resource window and paste the information from the bottom of the window under "Support Info"? I want to be sure I'm trying to reproduce this from the correct resource.

Hi Philip,

That was my suspicion. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'll check to make sure, but my hunch is that because the book is a Vyrso book, and is therefore not one we built (like the ones you would get from Logos.com). With these resource we do not put the same kind of data behind the scenes for the resource, which may cause problems for features like Reading Plan. The feature requires certain information inside the resource file, and if that information isn't there, then it won't work properly for what you are trying to do. I'll check today and if I get a reply I'll update this post.

Hello Philip,

I'm sorry to bring you bad news but my hunch was correct. The resource you're trying this with has not been "versified" meaning there is no index in the resource that has verses which are required for the Reading Plan to work. My apologies for the trouble.
