When Logos first introduced the Logos4 maps feature, one of its abilities involved finding a community etc. Typing in the name would bring up the relevant maps carefully arranged in random sequence, with little hint of where the relevant location was. The 'Find' would at least bring you a few 'miles' closer to 'somewhere around here'.
Now with the Timelines, this nifty feature is carried over, and I am SOOOO happy. I'm reading my new book on the Samaritans, with the quoted authors badly pot-shotting Josephus. He in turn tries to center his argument around the time of Hyrcanus.
So I happily type in Hyrcanus in the Timeline filter and sure enough, just as the sun comes up each morning, the screen goes blank. I dutifully go to 'Find'. I am EXPERIENCED with Logos designs!
I have to assume the coder never actually tried it out.
