So much wisdom from this child. I am glad old George is part of these forums!
I am glad ...George is part of these forums!
Me, too. Isn't George one of our forum fathers?
Yes, one of our Ante-Nicene Fathers.

Yes! And George "still has it"! The Boy From Indiana is "with it"! *smile* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD_T0U_6w8M
Now, of course, for our "hip" young man, when he takes to time to "reflect" -- there are times when with all his beautiful memories our friend will even wipe away an errant tear as he meditates on what God has done for him in his lifetime and in his loving response to the Grace of God! George, I hope you're around for a long, long time!
Here's a more peaceful and sedate version for when you get older, if ever! Always Peace, George! Always Joy!
This version is enough to make even a skeptic shed a lovely tear! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ8A7Q-SVHI
Yes, George, we can go home again! *smile*
George, who?

George, who? [lov'ya, brother]
Thank you all for your kind words, and "Beam me up, Scotty!"
There's only one thing wrong: I'm not yet 39; remember that I won't be 39 until my next birthday. Don't make me older than I am. BTW: Milford, you still have a good memory since it's been a while since I mentioned that I'm from Indiana – way to go! I'm still wondering where Alabama is from – Edmonton, Alberta, Canada? [;)]
George, Logos has a gift pack waiting for you - a complete set of reverse interlinears! Yes, I appreciate your contributions to the forums. Congratulations.
Do be careful, you're reaching a dangerous age. My father died young - just before his (59th) 39th birthday.
When George actually turns 39 Logos is going to release and dedicate The Message Reverse Interlinear in his honor. (They are having a little trouble aligning the Greek and Hebrew with the text, so hopefully they can get it done in time.)
George it has been good to know you and have you around since newsgroup days. Your contributions are appreciated.
I'm not yet 39
38 or not, I still remember your help on the former "News Groups" etc [was that what they were called?]
Also, Thank you for that "Early Church Fathers TOC [from days gone by].

Unfortunately, I never did complete that. I'll have to get back to it. Too many things – the Revelation commentary has even gotten shortchanged. [:(]
the Revelation commentary has even gotten shortchanged.
Gasp! Did you shorten the millennium???

Sorry to have to break it to you, but there is no literal millenium as conceived in dispensational and post-millenial thought. I might note that by putting the commentary on the back burner and letting it simmer for a time things have become much clearer.

I've been letting Revelation simmer for nearly 39 years[:D]
Congratulations for getting to a recognised milestone!
George, your posts are often thought-provoking -- and for that I thank you.
Strange that this thread appeared the same day the Classic Commentaries on Revelation were due for release but instead were delayed a month.
Wow, 6000 posts worth of curmudgeonliness! Congratulations and thanks for all your contributions.

I think this is actually the 2nd time it has been postponed. I seem to recall that it was originally scheduled for release 12/4/12.

Just "Doin' what come natchurly" (Do you remember that one?) [:)]
Thank you George, for the contributions you have made on the forum.

Fortunately, I did not have a mouthful of coffee when I read this [:D] Suppose that would be a very difficult task.

And 12 November before that...
I second that proposal! Brilliant idea.
