This is not really a bug, and is not limited to Logos 5 but a carry over from Logos 4, though I was reminded of the problem when using the new Topic Guide in a floating window. The automatic placement of resources when you click on a report is very annoying at times. I opened the topic guide in a floating window because it was a side issue I was looking at and wanted to separate out from the rest of my current study, but when I clicked on one of the dictionaries in the topic guide, instead of the resource opening up alongside the topic window in the current floating window, ti decided to open in another floating window because that window had resources of similar type open in it.
Floating resources need to have an option along the line of open resource hyperlinks in this window to enable better control over where a resource opens. This would enable better arrangement of the flow of resources within a layout.
