When I read some superscript asterisks (notes), some I would like to copy and paste for sharing with others in an email.
Is it possible? I have not discovered any function to do so?

by asterisk do you mean footnote numbers? If so, you can copy them.
In this instance footnote #110: click then select text and copy.
