I just upgraded my Logos 4 to your new Logos 5.
One of the great challenges one faces when purchasing new software is learning the program and attempting to digest large amounts of information. This includes hardware, as well.
I am persuaded that every producer of software should make a series of comprehensive video tutorials broken up into convenient subject categories. These should be simple and as clear as possible. An example of what I am speaking about may be found at lynda.com, an online software video school.
I am aware that your company does some of this, but it is not comprehensive and is lacking in many respects. If it is necessary to charge a nominal amount to cover the production cost of these videos, I think most people would be willing to spend the extra money as long as the cost was reasonable. There is the Norris Proctor tutorial program, but it is expensive and requires travel for most of us, which only adds to the already significant cost.
It is my hope that Logos Bible Software seriously considers my thoughts in this matter. I am persuaded this type of thing is sorely needed across the industry.
