Library Find Box Still too small

This is a very serious work issue for me as I have always worked with Library in a panel and half its size was taken away with the Collection drop down menu in 5.0. I'm re-requesting that space be restored and that it can be done easily by removing the Browse button and making the Prioritize button a switch to open/close its panel in the same way that the Info button works

Here is my original plea (for those who have access to the forum)  http://community.logos.com/forums/t/56461.aspx

NB. on my laptop (1366 x ?) there is no room between buttons/icons. On my desktop (1680 x 1050) there is space between the Info and Browse buttons, but laptop is my main work station.

And while you're solving Dave's issue, could you please at the same time make the Library find box adapt to use all available space, when there is space. It's absurd to only be able to see 10-20% of a complicated rule, when there's loads of free space to the right which the find box could expand into. See screenshot at SUGGESTION: Wider Library find box.

I also agree the Info/Browse/Prioritize options need to be redesigned. They're very confusing, and not even close together. Depending on what I have done earlier, the Info panel is sometimes opened by Browse to the right, and sometimes by the circled i left of the middle, and sometimes by first Browse and then the circled i.[*-)] Some kind of triple-switch to the right would be preferable. No turning off one option before you can select another.

And an <-> to adapt the width of the Info/Prioritize panel would be nice as well.

    I'll vote for that.

Rearranging the UI controls at the top of the Library panel is planned for a future version. (It's bundled together with some other UI changes, so we're not implementing it as a quick change for 5.0b. I don't have an estimate for when it will be done.)

That's good to know - the sooner the better!

Most of the issues in this thread are now fixed, but I would still appreciate

This is still being considered for future development, but there are no plans to implement it for now.
