Does anyone know how to do a reading plan for more than one book at the same time?
I think what you want is under the File menu, New --> Reading Plan.
If you mean to have more than one book within one plan - doing a little of this and a little of that in the same plan, then I don't believe that is doable now and I haven't heard of any plans to add it. Doesn't hurt to ask, though.

This sounds like a request I made during beta to have the ability to schedule a collection for reading.

A comprehensive reading plan is now more important than ever what with Knox Theological Seminary and Logos teaming up. I need to be able to:
This way you can have one calendar view of your reading plan.
Thanks,
Create multiple resource reading plans by class Have the ability to nest multiple resource reading plans so that you could have: Semester ClassA Textbook1 Textbook2 Journal1 Journal2 ClassB
i would be surprised if Logos did this much redesign.
But you could create a Note file and hyperlink to the individual Reading Plans. It would allow you to quickly access the calendar for each.
Eric - Since this isn't available now, and isn't likely in the near future, I did want to let you know that there are some good apps for the iPad which help you with planning your study time. There was one in particular (don't remember the name, sorry), that I was quite impressed with. I wish those apps had been available when I was still in seminary!
Excellent work-around Steve.
The reason I bring up the Logos partnership with Knox is because you see a clear direction that Logos is taking with its business objectives, much like with the establishment of Catholic packages. In fact, Knox is not the only seminary that is progressively leaning heavily towards Logos. For Birmingham Theological Seminary students, it is a requirement. They have not taken the logical next step with Logos the way that Knox has, but I have made every effort to purchase all my textbooks where possible, through Logos so that I can take advantage of the incredible power of this software.
Because of this type of clear direction Logos is taking to become a primary research and academic tool for students, and because the core technology is already in place (baseline Outlook integration, reading plans ...etc.), I dont think it is too much to ask for some application integrated resource organizational support.

Eric
Nor do I Eric -- and I really feel that Logos has a special responsibility to those in Seminary training, not only because of the tight(ening) relationship between various schools and their software platform/resources, but because once out 'in the real world' you all are likely to be(come) major purchasers of resources for some time to come. They are going to get lots from you, by way of text purchases, it's only fair and right to give you folks every tool and help that they need.
And hey -- regardless of your faith tradition/background -- let's all remember to pray for our seminary students!
