How do I put journal articles into a collection. I want to create a collection on the free will debate. I can get books on there from the library but not journal articles. Help would be greatly appreciated. kobus
Not sure I fully understand what you are asking. A collection is a series of books, you cannot make a "collection" of articles. You can copy your articles to a set of clippings, or create a note file of all the articles. You can even copy the articles into a word doc, and import them back into logos as a pbb. Hope I answered your question.

What is the purpose of the collection that you want to create? Perhaps some of the power users here can help you accomplish what you want some other way.
Thanks. you did assist.
My friend asked my opinion on open theism which is related, among other things, to the issue of free will vs predestination, which gets into a debate of calvinism, arminianism, lutheran views. I want to put everything I read on the subject into one bundle/collection/place so that I can have easy reference to it and not have to do the research again when I give my view on the issues to my friend. Any advice on the most efficient way to achieve this would be welcome.

I would use a clipping in this instance. Just add the article title to the clippings file. You can then make some notes about the article, some of the the points you found helpful as a pointer for when you come back to it at a later date.
If you then want to gather some of your thoughts into a more structure response, maybe like a Q & A or some other meaningful arrangement, I'd start a note file. In the first note you can put a link to your Clippings file so you have quick access to it from your notes file whenever you open up your note file. You can also use this note file if you want to highlight specific quotes in one of the resource you have found helpful and added to your clippings file and as part of that highlight, then make any relevant comments in your note associated with that highlight.
I call it the 1, 2 method. Your clippings file is a bit like going to the library, doing your research and photocopying the useful articles etc you find, making a note or two on the back of the page as to why you copied that article or page out of the textbook and attaching that material to a bulldog clip. Your note file then becomes the second stage of your research where you work through that material on your bulldog clip and start to structure, outline and write the first draft of your paper.
thanks
Follow-up to a note file could be a Personal Book, which can include links to Logos resources (e.g. clipping source) along with a Table of Contents.

[Y] Yes that could be the next stage in one's research, possibly exporting and doing further work in Word before creating PB.
A reading list might also be a good option. You could even add web articles that way and share your list with the community.
