Books disappeared from my android reader

When I went to use my tablet offline in church today I was shocked to see that all my books disappeared except for a few Bibles. Has anyone ever had anything like this happen? Are they possibly there in the background or do I have to download them all again? That would a shame if I have to download them all again.

I did experience this a few weeks ago when downloaded the latest update.  My books did have to be downloaded again, but this happened automatically.

Thanks for the info Ronald. I have connected to wifi and it did download books into the viewable library but I still don't have the books I had downloaded for reading off line. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Bruce, this exact thing happened to me this morning.  This is why I went to the Forums...  well, to find a solution.  It appears that I am going to have to manually download, again, the resources I want available on my Kindle Fire (first generation) offline (like in church).  Unless someone here comes up with a better solution.

I turned off my Kindle Fire.  Then I turned it back on, opened the Logos app.  Now it is downloading, automatically, the books I had previously downloaded, as Ronald, above, experienced.  It seems odd to me that the books were ever lost.  Anyway, now this is merely a minor nuisance rather than a significant irritation.

Yes, this happened to me this Sunday at church as well, with the iOS app. All my books were gone except one monograph, and I had no access to a Bible. It was a pain. It turned out I was able to access a Bible through the Faithlife app that I also had installed, so all was not lost. But it's still irksome that books I'd already downloaded simply disappeared with no warning.

Once I upgraded my OS I then had to download all my books again. Hope you have better luck.
