Crash: No Internet connection

Hi,

My Internet was just down so I thought I do some reading in Logos. But after Logos started displaying the main screen, it crashed. It did this a few times. Once the Internet was back, all was again ok. The error log files do not have today's date so I don't think anything was saved in there.

I believe I have read something similar before here in the forum but cannot locate it any more.

Armin, I was having a similar problem. Not sure if it was resolved, since the compute it was on (stable version) was borrowed. Another way to say stolen.

Armin - I have read about this issue, but I think it is PC only and I don't have a solution for you. The warning you are getting is ElementUtility Unable to set focus to default focus: PasswordBox (UserPasswordBox). Perhaps one of the Windows techies will have a solution for you. You are also getting an error message: Error MediaMetadata Unparsed reference: popup.pos=ABBR.N|res=LLS:14.0.4|type=jump

None of the Warnings or Errors in the last log would cause a crash. I assume you were working offline here as well? If there is anything it would be in the Windows Event logs - see here for more info and paste the information into your next post.

They are fairly meaningless! You will have to contact Logos Support who can perform further diagnostics. Is L5 still OK with Internet on?

Hi Dave,

I agree. I also could not make any sense of these logs. L5 works great with Internet; I am grateful for that. Is there a more effective way of contacting support than just use the standard e-mail of support @ ...? In the past, this e-mail address had similar characteristics to a black hole. [;)]
