Since updating to the beta, I am now getting sychronization errors. Any one else getting them? Anything I can do?
I am not on beta, but I have not heard of a large number of users with this issue… Did you JUST update, or has this been going on for some time? When you write "synchronization errors," do you just mean the error icon symbol, or do you know that it is actually not syncing? If so, what isn't syncing?
My software was running the CPU at over 200% in an endless synchronization. After a "Force Quit", is restarted with a short sync and settled down.

George - was this immediately after installing the update, or had some time passed?

I'm not sure what is not syncing, but the error does show. It appears that the notes and highlighting ARE syncing (I tested this with teh desktop app and my iPad). My guess is that it is related to the history syncing feature (which I still have no idea what it does).
If you go to tools/history it opens your history of where you have been on the computer you are using, but previously did not sync across computers. I think with this beta the plan is to sync these items into a single list somehow. I always clear my history after a day or two as there were issues with it in the past regarding performance on a Mac. Those may have been fixed, but you may want to try clearing your history and see if this resolves the matter with the long sync.
The sync problem was only this morning. I installed the beta as soon as it was available.
Not sure if that was the problem, but at least for now clearing the history made the error go away. Thanks, John!

I can't see any advantage/purpose for users except as a back-door to getting statistics. I'll be clearing history quite a lot.
As I posted in this thread, my sync errors are not fixed. The error will go away (temporarily) when I clear history, but once the history repopulates, I get the error again.
Is there a fix for the sync error? I am running 5.0b Release Candidate 1 (5.0.2.0556)

How about when I switch laptops with my grandson and want to pick up where I left off ... 4 laptops in household, 2 with Logos, 1 best for playing a particular game popular with the 14 year old crowd.

That comment is over a month old! I still don't need it, but there are issues with the implementation which would affect what you want to do.
I mainly lament the lack of choice with a feature that only benefits people with 4 laptops[:)]
