Duly installed. But at the first attempt it said it could not be installed. After I rebooted and pressed the L5 button, it offered to install the update and duly did so without problems. I've had this hitch before. Can't remember if it was with L4 or L5 or both. Doesn't worry me, as it installs after reboot, but thought it was worth mentioning

I guess I got the same problem with update. I will try reboot......

I figured out that a security program was blocking the installer. Now I have updated.

Are you on Windows? If so, it sounds like a quirk in how Windows works. Sometimes, updates will be installed - could be Windows OS level stuff, or something else. A reboot is required, somehow the message is lost to do this (could be an improperly built install package). Windows will not permit another install to occur until the reboot happens and the prior install is completed. Could even be an aborted install that still requires a reboot to reset itself. You can Google this if interested, there is a registry setting that Windows uses to remind itself that a reboot is required, and clearing the setting will let the new install complete (albeit with potentially risky consequences based on the state of the system.)

This error is reported, so if that's the case Logos could make their error message more clear so the user knew what to do - Logos software can detect that this case I explain is happening.

Thanks. Old computer with Vista had this problem. Newer computer with Win 7 was fine. Anyway, it doesn't worry me, as we get there in the end...

Windows 8 = no problems with updating today. Tomorrow (or Friday) could present unprecedented results that will curl ones hair (or mustache).

This has happened to me for the last few updates. Turning off the computer seemed to help. (Windows 7)
