Bug in Works of Ottley?

No sooner had I finished reviewing Ottley's 2-volume set on Isaiah LXX than the English "Notes" section (vol. 2 is how it's named in the library) kept crashing Logos.

This just happens when I open that single resource (1 out of 7, I think, that come with the 3-volume "Works" set), regardless of whether I have 20 tabs or 1 other tab open.

I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.7 GHz INtel Core i7, 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 and it happens repeatedly that when I try to open this resource (but not others), I get a spinning wheel and have to Force Quit Logos. Occasionally it opens the resource and lets me scroll through for a couple seconds--but then the same end result.

So I'm thinking something is wrong with the module in Mac, maybe?

I opened my Logos 5 on a PC and could not reproduce this problem--all is well there.

I'm not really sure I know how to send error logs, though I could try to figure that out if that's helpful. But perhaps just as good could be if someone who happens to have Ottley in Mac can see if they can get in and around vol. 2 of Ottley?

Hi Abram,
I'm sorry you're having problems with that particular resource. Can you post some log files of the crash when opening the book? Here is a link to instructions on how to do that in Logos 4 www.logos.com/support/mac/L4/Logging. Also, I can't find a resource in that gropu that has the word "note" in the title. Do you mean the (Critical Apparatus)? What is the full title in the Library panel?

At the time of posting, I couldn't even get in to Logos to see my library. But I'll look that up.

I'm in Logos 5. Do I post log files for that the same way as in the link you sent to Logos 4 posting?

Okay--no idea if this is the right way to post the log files, but here they are. I didn't see anything for Logos 5 in the Application Support folder, but here is what was there under Logos 4.

Hi Abram,

Sorry about the confusion over where the logs are. If you transitioned from Logos 4 to 5 without uninstalling 5 first the folder name in Application Support retains the Logos 4 name. The logs you posted did not record a crash. Were you able to reproduce the crash? If so, can you reproduce the crash, and then post the logs before restarting Logos?

What's happening now is that it's freezing--not responding. I can't get it to crash. I can Force Quit, but it seems like that doesn't show up in the logs.

Tommy, can you try and see if you can open the resource in question (it's the one on the right in the screen shot) in Mac? I'm wondering if it's an issue with the resource itself in Mac.

Otherwise, maybe I'll let the colorful pinwheel keep spinning, and maybe it will crash eventually so I can send you the logs.

I get the spinning ball for about 17 seconds when opening Ottley 2 before it appears. Then again the spinning ball for 14 seconds before it becomes responsive. Other resources open and are responsive instantaneously.
