Are the Encyclicals of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI included in this bundle the English versions, the Latin versions, or both?
Thanks!
I understand your question to refer to http://www.logos.com/product/15776/encyclicals-of-pope-john-paul-ii-and-pope-benedict-xvi which says it's English and Latin (two resources each, thus scrolling them side by side is possible).
EDIT: now I see they listed the encyclicas individually with their Latin names (such as "Deus Caritas Est") instead of the resource. Note that these are in Catholic Bundle L and XL, but not M. Bundle M includes "The Papal Encyclicals", another encyclicals resource that goes up to the early 80s, thus missing most of John Paul II's papacy and Benedict XVI.
Sorry I should have been more clear. The Catholic Studies Bundle comparison chart lists each of them individually, but lists them only once each, saying nothing about which language.
I am hoping, that since it doesn't mention "(Latin)" after the titles, these are the English versions. The descriptions that come up when I click on any of the links aren't of much help in this matter.
I was hoping that someone who had already bought this Bundle (these files are included only in L and XL; I've corrected my subject line which initially said "M") could verify whether they got the English files only or the Latin files only (or -- less likely -- both).
Rosie,
The resource link I gave above says that the encyclicals are in English and Latin. It also says that this resource is included in Catholic Bundle L and XL as well as in Verbum Master and above (and therefore, that my price is 0,00 since I own it in Verbum). Unfortunately I don't remember whether these came with Verbum Master or Catholic Scholars or last year's Cath. Library Builder for me.
I see e.g. "Caritas in Veritate" in an English and in a Latin edition as two resources in my library.
Does this answer your question?
Mick

Yup, the bold parts above are sufficient to put my mind at ease about this. I was trying to decide whether to go for the M or L bundle. The only extra thing I'd pick up of interest in the L bundle would be these encyclicals, and if they were only going to be in Latin, it wouldn't have been worth the $94 price differential. Even as is, I'm not really sure I'm going to spring for L.
Since you own an impressive library already, maybe it's worth checking out the Verbum Upgrade page (I seem to remember that KS4J, coming from Portfolio plus something paid only a nominal amount for Capstone!). All of the Catholic L bundle content is contained in Verbum Master, so you might get this for less.

Per Mick above: Would recommend you check the "price to you" on the Verbum Capstone package, it may be surprisingly inexpensive given what you already have.
If it helps, in My Library they are listed as:
So my guess is that what is being offered in the bundle is the English version. If that is incorrect you can always take advantage of the "return" policy and trade one bundle in on a different one (or on a Verbum package for that matter if that turns out to be a better deal for you).
Verbum Master would suffice for the resources discussed in this thread. Rosie, check it out here. http://www.logos.com/catholic#compare
Worth checking : for me the price of Capstone was lower than Master, but then again some XL bundles are showing cheaper than the corresponding L bundle (due to higher overall discounts and what specific resources you already have)... [:-*]
