What is this?

Hey gang, I just upgraded (L4 Scholar's Gold w/ added stuff to L5 Minimal Crossgrade) this week. I'm preaching on Isaiah 9:1-7 this Sunday, and in reading the introductory materials in the New American Commentary on Isaiah 1-39, I found the following: a sentance would have a gray dotted underline, with a light gray [# highlights] following it (the "#" being different depending on the text. See below.
What is this? Is this the number of time someone has highlighted this sentence? With it being the week before Christmas, I haven't had time to watch all the tutorials. Thanks in advance for your help.

It is something new, community highlights, just like you find in Kindle. It shows how many other users have underlined that sentence. It can be turned off.
Personally for me, it does not bother me, for others it does.

Casey, it's controlled in the little olympic symbol on each resource. You right-click the menu item if you wish to globally hide them.
But your screen copy is quite interesting. (I have mine turned off, permanently it seems).

Peace, Casey!
One more slight tutorial for you!
You noted what Denise (DMB) just said ....
well, Casey, you have a choice here ..... to turn it off just for one resource ... OR all of them at the same time! *smile*
