Page numbers not showing up on some books when copied and pasted?

Hi all,

Thanks for all the great help on here so far as I get to grips with what for me is new software!

I am using Logos 5 to help with theological studies and I'm currently writing an essay that has to be referenced Harvard style. Most references when pasted into pages come up with the information including page number but some don't?

For example trying to copy and paste from 'The New Bible Commentary' by Carson I just get...

'New Bible commentary: 21st century edition. 1994 (D. A. Carson, R. T. France, J. A. Motyer & G. J. Wenham, Ed.) (4th ed.). Inter-Varsity Press: Leicester, England; Downers Grove, IL'

As you can see no page number (and no option to add page numbers from the drop down button with 3 circles on)
I will get marked down for not giving page numbers so any help would be gratefully received.

Many resources don't have page numbers and NBC is one of them. Although my Harvard Style citation does show the bible reference

Ah, thanks Dave - is there any way of finding page numbers for them anywhere else on line or is it a case of finding someone with a hard copy?

Probably would need a hard copy, but does your institution not allow for quotes from electronic sources?
