App Update 3.1.4
I have had a lot of trouble updating the iphone app in the past, especially with crashing after updating. I would like to update my app from what I currently have (3.0.2) to the 3.1.4 which is now available at Apple Istore. Before if someone could help me with 2 questions I would appreciate it:
1. Is anyone having crashing or functioning issues after updating?
2. Will I lose all the books I have already downloaded and have to re-download (a time-consuming activity)?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Stephen
I am running 3.1.4 on my iPad - not iPhone
1. Is anyone having crashing or functioning issues after updating?
I haven't had any problems.
2. Will I lose all the books I have already downloaded and have to re-download (a time-consuming activity)?
No, your downloaded books will still be available

Stephen - The Logos app works very well for me. I am also a beta tester, so I am updating VERY often. Most of the time, I am able to update without issue, but occasionally the install goes bad and the best solution is to delete and reinstall. For this reason, I recommend to most people that they be conservative about the number of downloaded resources they use. For some users, (perhaps yourself?) having many resources downloaded is a necessity, so that isn't really an option. The good news is that Logos is working on download management from within L5, which helps a little.
If you have to do delete your app, you will lose your downloaded resources... I don't think that will happen, but it might.

Has anyone else had issues with syncing non-Bible reading plans with the iPad?
Prior to this release, I could create a reading plan in the Logos 5 software and it would show up in the iPad App. No problem, expected. Recently, I had to make a change to a reading plan and the changes I make in the windows software do not propagate to the iPad but they remain in the windows software and work as expected. I checked the read boxes on a couple days of the reading plan on the iPad and the changes from the iPad propagate to the windows software no problem. In fact, it now changes the reading plan on windows to the reading plan version that was on the iPad, but it doesn't work the other way. It seems as if sync is only working in one direction now (iPad -> Logos 5).
Recently introduced is the ability to create a reading plan on the iPad, but it only allows Bible versions, not other books. Related?

I think I figured out the problem, but it is NOT the way it should work. Some time ago, I changed my email address and therefore updated my profile to reflect the new email. Since that time, I purchased a Logos 5 package upgrade and downloaded the new software for windows. When it asked for the account info, I used the new email.
On my iPad, there does not seem to be a way to logout from within Account->Settings. It shows my old email. I still have access to everything and the iPad app even downloaded the new package content but for some reason things are syncing incorrectly (only seems to be in one direction, iPad to windows). I tested on my iPhone because I'm afraid I will lose all my notes and highlights, but I deleted the app entirely from my iPhone and reinstalled. Upon launching, it asked for the account info. Entering in my new email address, everything synced up fine. Is there anyway to logout and login on the iPad app without having to delete the app and all its data?

The app is designed for ONE user, so there is no way to Log out. If there were to be a way to log out, it would necessarily delete your previous user info and resources... So you are right: you must delete and reinstall the app to log into your new account. If you are worried about losing notes from the mobile app, I'd suggest calling Logos. I don't know if they could merge your account docs or not.
