read aloud speed

A few days ago, I tried to adjust the speech speed through Logos’ audio player. Clicking on the speech numeric increased the speed to 1.4 times normal, which is a little too fast. When I clicked on the numeric again looking for a way to decrease the speed, the speed increased to 2, which is excessively fast.

Since adjusting speed through the control panel does not affect Logos’ speed, how can I get the speech speed back to the default setting?

For me (Logos5, Win7) clicking the number for the speed cycles through from .75 to 2 and back to .75. Does this not happen for you?

Thank you Richard for the speedy reply. I tried your suggestion and it does cycle through for me. Since it increased to two, I was not inclined to go further and worsen my problem. I guess I did not have sufficient faith.

Your welcome! I actually don't use text to speech much and had to figure it out for myself. And since I don't use it much, I didn't have much to lose in trying!
